Senior Reed Grimes will continue his baseball career at Grace College. The 6'3" right-handed pitcher went 3-1 as a junior for the Mavs with 39 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched while opponents hit .182. Grace competes at the NAIA level and are members of the Crossroads League. The Lancers finished the 2025 campaign with a 23-28 record overall and 14-22 in conference. Grimes is the fourth Maverick to commit in the class of 2026 joining teammates Jonathan Riley (Toledo), Sammy Swank (Kentucky) and Jake Winger (Indiana).
