With a 11-0 victory Saturday at Lebanon Memorial Park, the Mavs finished the week with a 3-1 record. The Mavs (11-10) jumped out early scoring twice in the first inning. With two outs and no body on Jonathan Riley and Sammy Swank had back to back doubles to plate the first run. Swank would come around to score on a wild pitch later in the inning. Walks to Mason Jones and Aiden Riser got the top of the second inning started. After courtesy runner Jackson Lancaster and Riser executed a double steal, Deacon Anthrop brought in both with a single to right. Following a walk of Zayne Newgent, Riley delivered his fifth home run of the year to make it a 7-0 score. Riley finished with three hits, three RBI, and two runs while Anthrop had two hits and three RBI. Aiden Riser picked up the win surrendering one hit and one walk while fanning three in three innings. Cason Trader and Aiden Piechnik both pitched scoreless innings to close out the win. The Mavs return to action Monday when they travel to West Lebanon to take on Seeger.
