Maverick March Madness We are excited to announce an upcoming community event designed to support our McCutcheon Boys Volleyball program, with a fun and competitive twist! This year, we’re bringing the spirit of March Madness to our very own neighborhood with a March Madness-themed fundraiser featuring intramural 3v3 basketball games. Here are the details you won’t want to miss: • Event: 3v3 Maverick March Madness Basketball Tournament • Date: March 3, 5, 10, 12 • Time: 6p-9p • Location: McCutcheon High School - Aux Gym How It Works: • Teams: Each team will consist of 3 players. • Entry Fee: $15 per team (all proceeds go to support our Boys Volleyball program). • Game Rules: Teams will compete in a fast-paced game format, with each match played to 15 points. • Grand Prize: The overall winning team will walk away with a $75 cash prize! How Students Can Get Involved: Students who wish to participate in the fundraiser need to sign up and create an account at MyBooster.com. Once registered, students will be able to share a personal fundraising link with sponsors and potential donors. This allows them to easily track their progress and receive pledges for every point or game their team wins. REGISTER YOUR TEAM NOW! Exciting Rewards for Students! Students who raise a certain amount of funds through sponsors and donations will be eligible for special prizes. These prizes will be awarded to those who go above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, so be sure to share your link and spread the word to help raise the most for our Mavericks! Get Involved as a Sponsor: We are offering local businesses and community members a unique opportunity to make an even bigger impact by becoming a sponsor for the event. Sponsors can pledge a certain amount of money for every point or every game a team wins, making the competition even more exciting! For example, a sponsor might pledge $1 for every point a team scores or $5 for every game a team wins. Alternatively, if you are unable to make a pledge based on points or games, you can also contribute a direct donation to the fundraiser. All contributions—whether through pledges or donations—will go directly to support our local high school and the valuable programs they provide. This event is an exciting way to bring our community together while supporting a great cause.
