Congratulations to our American Family Adsit Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Maezi Snyder & Nolan Grigsby! Maezi, a Junior middle on the Lady Mavs Volleyball team, has had a fantastic season at the net for the Mavs! Maezi is averaging a steady 46.5 kill % and is averaging 2.5 blocks per game. In a frenzied 3-2 comeback win over West Lafayette, Ms. Snyder finished with 16 kills, 5 blocks, and had 0 hitting errors. Maezi is also a very talented student in the classroom where the junior carries a 3.97 cumulative GPA! Way to get it done in the classroom, and on the court, Maezi! Nolan, a junior #2 singles player for the Boys Tennis team, came through in the clutch this past week to help the Mavs win the McCutcheon Tennis Invitational! In a highly contested rematch with Benton Central, Mr. Grigsby's gutty 6-4, 6-1 win in the #2 Singles match guaranteed the Mavs' sweep of the invite field. Nolan followed up that performance with wins over Tri-West, Lafayette Jeff, and Rossville. Grigsby was also impressive at the Jefferson Booster Invite this past Saturday, placing 2nd overall in the field. Nolan is also great at achieving in the classroom where the junior carries a near-perfect 3.97 cumulative GPA! Great work at school and on the court, Nolan!
