In a back and forth affair, the JV Mavs were able to battle their way to victory and improve to 15-9 on the season with a 9-8 (5inn) win against the Carmel Greyhounds. Trailing 1-0 after the first, the Mavs were able to plate 5 in the home half of the 2nd. Zayne Newgent and Rhett Clarkson both delivered 2 RBI doubles. Trailing 8-6 headed into the final inning, the Mavs battled to score 3 and close the game out. Rhett Clarkson led the JV Mavs driving in 3 runs on the night. Clarkson, Zach Morgan, and Jackson Savage each contributed 2 hits in the game. Cade Burkhalter, Jackson Lancaster, Jonah Fritchley, and Deacon Anthrop all contributed with an RBI each. The JV Mavs finish their season 15-9 having had 9 games dropped off their schedule due to weather complications. They made the most of their opportunities on the year and it was a great season for the JV Mavs in 2024.
