Runs were at a premium for the Mavs (19-4) in game two of Saturday's doubleheader at Center Grove. The Mavs had runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out in the top of the first and a runner at second with one out in the top of the second but were not able to plate a run in either inning. Sage Adams got the Mavs on the board in the top of the third with a home run to left field that knotted the game at one. Jake Winger led the Mavs with two hits while also striking out three in four innings of work on the mound. Aiden Riser added a double. The Mavs close the regular season in Crawfordsville Monday night against the host Athenians. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
