The JV Mavs lost on the road Monday night while visiting Carmel falling to 11-8 on the season. In the top of the 5th the Mavs took the lead 4-2 by way of a Brodyn Sharp RBI Single scoring Grayson Sharp. That was immediately followed by a Mason Jones 2 run home run to left field. B. Sharp and Jones had all 4 RBI's for the Mavs on the night. The Greyhounds answered with single runs in the bottom half of the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings to gain the victory. Reed Grimes continued his solid season on the bump giving up 4 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), striking out 5, and walking just one in his 4 innings of work. Aidan Piechnik and Kaden Sharp came on in relief. On Tuesday the JV Mavs will host Harrison with a 5:30 start at the Mavs Baseball Complex.
