The JV Mavs traveled to Loeb to take on the Bronchos and return home as 11-1 (6inn) victors moving them to 4-3 on the season. The offense got going in the top of the first after the JV Mavs loaded the bases and Mason Jones cleared them with a 3 RBI triple to left field. Jonah Fritchley, Zach Morgan, and Jackson Savage each collected hits as the runs kept coming for the Mavs. Reed Grimes was stellar on the hill going 5 innings only giving up one unearned run. He struck out 6 and only allowed one free base. Ryker Eaton came on for one inning of relief to seal the victory. The JV Mavs will return to action at the Mav Baseball Complex Saturday for a doubleheader against Delphi with first game set to start at 11:00am.
