Junior Varsity Mavs fall to 3-3 on the season with a loss at Harrison on Tuesday. The Mavs got on the board in the 4th after Brodyn Sharp led the inning off with a walk. Mason Jones, who led all hitters going 2-3, doubled scoring Sharp. Zach Morgan then scored Jones on a fielders choice to put the Mavs up 2-1. The offense stalled and were unable to score again. Falling 6-2 to the Raiders. Zayne Newgent went 5IP allowing 3 runs on 4 hits and fanned 5 hitters. Aidan Piechnik threw one inning in relief out of the pen. The Mavs return to action Friday at Loeb Stadium against Lafayette Jeff. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30.
