The McCutcheon Unified teams are raising money for the Special Olympics of Indiana, in a very "cool" way...by asking for donations to take the annual Purdue Polar Plunge! The Polar Plunge is the signature Special Olympics Indiana fundraiser. Since its inception, more than 40,000 Hoosiers have taken the Plunge supporting Special Olympics Indiana athletes and making the Polar Plunge the largest fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics in the state. Individuals and groups jump into the frigid and icy waters of Indiana, soliciting donations from family and friends – often dressing up to make this “bucket list” activity as memorable as possible. The Unified Mavs will plunge on February 24 at Purdue University. Their team goal is to raise $1500, and are currently around $700 towards that goal!
