Congratulations to AmFam Insurance - Adsity Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Hailey Wagner & Owen Souligne! Hailey, a junior on the Cheer squad, has been a bright spot on the McCutcheon sidelines this Winter season! Ms. Wagner is a multi-sport athlete who enjoys cheering on her classmates whenever she isn't on the pitch or sprinting on the track. Head Cheer Coach, Lauren Evans, also lauds Hailey's team-first mindset. "Hailey is a total team player who helps out wherever is needed and is always super respectful with her coaches & teammates!" Last Fall, Hailey was also voted 1st Team All-Conference in Soccer! Hailey is also very respected in the classroom where the junior carries a strong 3.79 cumulative GPA! Excellent work in the classroom and on the Cheer sidelines, Hailey! Owen, a junior on the Boys Basketball team, scored a team-high 21 points in the Berry Bowl to help lead the Mavs to a big 68-52 conference win on the road versus Logansport! Mr. Souligne knocked down 4 shots from behind the arc and also pulled down 2 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists. On the season, Souligne is averaging 13.1 PPG, and shooting 41% from three-point land! Owen is also a top student in the classroom where the junior carries a respectable 3.45 GPA! Fantastic work in the classroom and on the court, Owen!
