On Friday evening, the Lady Mavs hosted NCC foe Kokomo Wildkats and stayed undefeated in conference play and have won 5 straight games. Sophomore Braelyn Williams started the first quarter with two huge 3 point baskets and the Lady Mavs pushed the lead to 16-0 before the Lady Kats could get their first bucket. Solid pressure on defense backed up the hot shooting and allowed the Lady Mavs to run out to a 24-8 1Q lead. The Lady WIldkats had some timely 3s and some cold shooting for the Lady Mavs in the second half allowed the Kats to get back in the game but no closer than 10 points.
