On Tuesday night, the Lady Mavs (7-2) took on the Knights of Central Catholic and came away with a hard fought 48-42 win. A slow offensive night for the Lady Mavs created the scenario of trying to find other ways to win. CC had a 24-18 halftime lead but a strong 3rd quarter would allow the Lady Mavs to only be down 1 point going into the 4th quarter. Clutch free throws and rebounding clinched the victory.
