The JV Lady Mavs played one of their best games last night in a 52-19 blowout win vs. Parke Heritage. The JV story is the same with every game, "good defense is the best offense." With the win, the JV moves to 6-0 on the early season. The leading scorer from the game was Freshman Ameria Gibson 15 points with 9 of those coming in the opening part of the 1st quarter. Camille Gaddis was 2 of 4 from 3pt range and finished with a season high 12 points. This was a full team win on the defensive side of the floor. Deflections, steals, and energy have been the staple of all six games thus far. The coaching staff cannot express the pleasure of watching this team in the half court playing defense.
