On Thursday night, the Lady Mavs fell just short of another victory by the score 49-52 to the Twin Lakes Indians. The Lady Mavs just could not find a flow to the game on the offensive side of the floor. TL led at half time by the score of 28-26. The third quarter had some great defensive possessions by the Lady Mavs that led to some easy scoring and allowed the Mavs to take their first lead of the game. TL had a answer for every opportunity down the stretch and secured the victory with some late free throws. The Lady Mavs had three scorers in double figures with Freshman Lillie Graves 13, Sophomores Chloe Finney and Aubrey Miller with 12 each. Junior Kalea Washington continues her streak of double digit rebounds with 12. With the loss, the Mavs will play on Saturday at 1pm and the game will be at Harrison High School. The Lady Mavs record moves to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in Conf play.
