Congratulations to AmFam Adsit Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Claire DeFreese & Riley Wohlwend! Claire, a sophomore on the Unified Flag Football, has been a tremendous partner for our Unified Athletes! Ms. DeFreese is an incredibly active student-athlete for the Mavericks who also competes in Cheer, Basketball, Track & Field and Unified Track & Field! Claire's positive mindset, big heart, and athletic prowess make her a tremendous asset to the McCutcheon Unified squad. This past Saturday, Claire helped lead the Mavs to another IHSAA Sectional Championship with their 77 - 25 win over Twin Lakes. Ms. DeFreese is also a stellar leader in the classroom where the sophomore carries a lofty 3.71 cumulative GPA! Great job in the classroom and on the field, Claire! Riley, a senior on the Unified Flag Football team, helped score several of the Mavs touchdowns in their Sectional Championship this past Saturday. Riley is a big Maverick supporter who travels to nearly every McCutcheon sporting event. Mr. Wohlwend is a great teammate who is also a great scorer in Unified Basketball and an incredibly fast runner on the Unified Track and Field team. Riley is also very talented in the classroom where the senior carries a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA!
