Mav alumni Brody Fine ('22) and Logan Marsell ('24) reached the College World Series in their respective divisions of collegiate baseball this season. Fine, a senior right-handed pitcher at Taylor University, helped lead the Trojans to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. He compiled an 8-0 record with 83 strikeouts in 59 innings pitched. Taylor (56-6) will play for the national championship on Saturday, May 30, against Tennessee Wesleyan. Marsell, a sophomore outfielder at Wabash Valley College, helped the Warriors advance to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. He batted .345 with two home runs, 17 RBIs, and 19 runs scored during the season. Wabash Valley finished the year with a 44-22 record.
