The Mavs picked up their eighth win of the season behind a complete game from Sammy Swank and home runs by Jackson Lancaster and Jake Winger. Swank struck out 10 while allowing just three hits and two walks, earning his third win of the year. After Danville scored in the bottom of the first, Lancaster tied the game at one with a leadoff solo homer in the second. The Mavs took the lead for good in the fourth. Rhett Clarkson reached on an error, Charlie Kas advanced him to second, and Mekyel Almond followed with an RBI single to left to make it 2–1. Swank led off the seventh with a single before Winger capped the scoring with a two-run homer to center. Kas and Winger each finished with three hits. Swank and Jonah Fritchley added two hits apiece. The Mavs return home for another matchup with Danville on Wednesday night. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m.
