Congratulations to AmFam Adsit Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Sydney Neumayr & Phillip Ferger! Sydney Neumayr (Junior | GPA: 3.58) continues to make a major impact for the softball team. In last week’s win over Jeff, Sydney delivered a perfect performance at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 2 runs scored and adding 2 stolen bases. Behind the plate, she was just as impressive, leading the defense with confidence and control. Beyond her athletic success, Sydney was recently inducted into the National Honor Society—an achievement that reflects her dedication in the classroom. As Coach Bowman shared, “She is a great leader for us on the team and has great character as she competes.” Sydney truly embodies what it means to be a Maverick. Phillip Ferger (Sophomore | GPA: 3.14) is making his mark on the boys' golf team as the current number one golfer. Phillip recently achieved an incredible milestone by recording a hole-in-one at the prestigious Purdue Kampen Championship Course—an accomplishment many golfers dream of. His performance on the course continues to set the standard for the team, and his growth as a sophomore is exciting to watch.
