The Mavs (3–3) held Lebanon to two hits and used five two-out RBIs to secure a 9–1 conference win Thursday night. Junior Cason Trader set the tone on the mound, pitching six strong innings while allowing two hits and one run with eight strikeouts. Sophomore Landon Taylor closed the game with a 1-2-3 seventh inning. Mav pitchers retired the leadoff hitter in all seven innings. Offensively, the Mavs scored in each of the first five innings. Four players recorded two hits, led by Jonathan Riley with two doubles. Rhett Clarkson, Brodyn Sharp, and Jacoby Kas also added two hits each. The Mavs return to the Mav Baseball Complex on Friday to host Twin Lakes at 6 p.m.
