Congratulations to AmFam Adsit Agency Student-Athletes of the Week: Riley Budreau & Zach Crowe! Riley, a senior on the Girls Golf team, helped lead the Lady Mavs to their top performance of the year this past Saturday at the FW Carroll Invitational. The Mavs played at the challenging Cobblestone Golf Club and scored a total of 15 shots lower than their season best. Coach Spalding praises Riley for her ability to communicate well with everyone on the team, and her ability to keep the team motivated at getting better each round. Ms. Budreau is also a great leader in the classroom where the Senior carries a near-perfect 3.96 cumulative GPA! Great work on the course and in the classroom, Riley! Zach, a junior running back on the Football team, had a nose for the goalline this past Friday at Muncie Central. Mr. Crowe scored 3 rushing TDs and totaled 64 yards on 14 carries in the Maverick's 34-7 NCC win over the Bearcats. Zach is also a multi-sport athlete who runs Track and Field for the Mavs in the Spring. Zach is also a big point scorer in the classroom where the junior carries an impressive 3.48 cumulative GPA! Great work in the classroom and on the gridiron, Zach!
