The Lady Mavs golf team completed another 18-hole round yesterday at the annual Lafayette Jeff Invitational on the historic Battleground Golf Course.  Seven Lady Mavs competed in the beautiful summer weather and worked to improve their overall golf game.

Seniors Hanna Miller (100), Sarah Spalding (107), Madison Matz (113) were joined by a couple of newcomers to the Lady Mav golf program.  Freshmen Marlee Matz (132) and Ellie Rose (125) competed in their first 18-hole event and Coach Keith Spalding was impressed by their enthusiasm and willingness to be coached- up throughout the round.  Junior Kayci Barker (106) and Sophomore Hannah Heimbach (109) rounded out the team’s scoring (422).

With only one day off from competition, the Lady Mav golfers next head to the magnificent Purdue Ackerman-Allen course for the West Lafayette Invitational (8/8/19 @ 4:00 P.M.)
