On Tuesday evening, the Lady Mavs traveled to Danville to take on the 16-3 Warriors. Sophomore Chloe Finney led the way offensively with a team high in scoring with 17 points. This game had each team take the lead at different parts of the game but neither one could put the other one away and push the lead to double figures. Heading into the last part of the 4th quarter, the biggest difference in the game was hitting shots when it mattered. The Lady Mavs were held to 9 points scored in the 4th quarter and finished 52% from the free throw line. This loss snaps a 14 game winning streak. The Lady Mavs will be back in action on Friday night at 6pm for a chance to outright win the very last NCC championship. As of right now, we have a share of the conference championship, but Friday would claim it entirely to the Lady Mavs. Our season record is now 17-3 (7-0 NCC). Stats Chloe Finney 17 Points Aubrey Miller 8 Points 4 Rebounds Lillie Graves 7 Points Braelyn Williams 6 Points Kalea Washington 5 Points 15 Rebounds Aubri Mullendore 2 Points
